I swam with sharks. Not metaphorically, but quite literally. I swam with man-eating Tiger sharks.
While I was in the water, there wasn't a single second that went by that I didn't think about quitting and heading back to the safety of the boat. But despite my life-long fear of the water, the school of hungry sharks that circled around me, the fact that I didn't know how to swim, and the very real threat that it could all end for me without even a moment's notice, I kept going.
That's the kind of person I am. I kept going because when I say I'll do something; I make it happen.
They say being in business is like swimming with the sharks. And I love it! I wouldn't trade my literal or metaphorical experiences for anything.
Every brand has a story to tell. A story that engages, informs, surprises, delights and impacts the audience. My role as the founder of Disrupted Logic is also my passion; to be the conduit between my business, employees, stakeholders and my customers, to deliver on our story and to deliver measurable business goals. And you can count on me to do just that.
Swimming with sharks is about perseverance, planning, logistics and relationship management. It's about quality, thinking on your feet (fins maybe?) and never losing the vision that inspired you to get your feet wet in the first place. And most importantly, it's about going for it. As Christopher Columbus once said, "You can never cross the ocean until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore."
To this day, I have yet to work with someone as collaborative as Tom. Like all experts comfortable with their abilities, there were suggestions that almost always made things better and more effective. Professional, quick, and collaborative I can't think of a better person to work with.
